Smart Home Automation in Berkshire

A Smart Home Automation project taking control of Audio, Video, and Security.

We wired the property in conjunction with Berkeley Homes to make the entire property “Smart Home Ready”. This means lighting control and heating control can be added to the existing systems at any point in the future with ease.

Ceiling speakers have been used in every room and the outside patio areas totalling 8 zones. Links to music streaming services for each room and airplay are supplied by a Savant Music Server making the system consistent and easy to use for the customer.

The family room was upgraded to have a beautiful Artcoustic 5.1 system comprising custom printed left and right channel speakers and bespoke width sound bar, colour matched to the media wall and built the same width as the LG OLED 55 inch TV. The media wall was also designed and installed by Cre8tive Rooms.

A Pulse 8 video matrix distributes Sky and 4k Blu Ray to every TV in the property totalling 7, including a end of bed TV lift in the master suite. CCTV has ben installed at high level to cover all areas of the property and internally in the garage. The system is setup to only record when motion is detected making reviewing of footage on the NVR and cloud services very easy indeed. A full wireless Network has been installed to ensure the fibre broadband covers all parts of the property.

We specified with the client a Savant system to take control of devices. All systems are controlled at home and away using the Savant Pro App.
